Oyado Nene Heiwajima Review: Our 55 m² Family Stay Near Haneda Airport

Finding a spacious place to stay in Tokyo can be surprisingly difficult when you are traveling with family or friends.

We stayed at Oyado Nene Heiwajima with our small child, and our 55-square-meter second-floor room had two bedrooms, a raised sleeping area beside the living room, a kitchen, and laundry facilities.

It is particularly worth considering if you want to stay together near Haneda Airport rather than booking several smaller hotel rooms.

This review covers what we liked, how the self-check-in process worked, and the details you should know before booking.

Quick Verdict: Is Oyado Nene Heiwajima Right for You?

Exterior of Oyado Nene Heiwajima

Oyado Nene Heiwajima is best suited to families or groups looking for a spacious, apartment-style stay near Haneda Airport.

The room we used had a large living area, a kitchen, a washing machine, a dryer, and several places to sleep, which made it practical for a stay of several days.

It can also work well for travelers who prefer a quieter residential neighborhood over a large hotel district.

During our stay, the area became very peaceful at night, and our child slept well.

After a busy day in Tokyo, that quiet time can be part of the value of staying here.

However, this is not a conventional hotel experience.

There is no hotel-style reception desk, entry is handled with PIN codes, and check-in is completed using a tablet near the entrance.

It may not be the right choice if you need an elevator, want a staffed front desk, or are uncomfortable with a self-check-in system.
