A cold fruit shake is one of the simple pleasures of traveling through Laos in the heat, and Noy's Fruit Heaven offers a more relaxed, colorful take on the usual juice-stand experience.
Located in central Vientiane, this fruit café is a good fit if you enjoy fresh fruit, photogenic cafés, or simply want somewhere to sit down during a day of sightseeing.
When I visited, I enjoyed both the colorful fruit display and the rich fruit flavor of the shake I tried.
In this article, I'll cover what the café is like, how ordering works, what I tried, the menu, and how the price compares with cheaper fruit shake options around the city.

Noy's Fruit Heaven is in central Vientiane, making it a convenient café to consider during a day of sightseeing in the city.
Why Visit Noy's Fruit Heaven in Vientiane?

Noy's Fruit Heaven is known for its fruit shakes, but the first thing that stands out is actually the storefront.
Bright, colorful fruit is piled up in front of the café, making the shop hard to miss among the surrounding buildings.
Even before you walk inside, the display gives the place a fresh and inviting feel.
The shakes themselves are just as photogenic, and the café attracts an international mix of travelers.
The appeal is not just the shake itself—the colorful fruit display and relaxed café setting are part of the experience.
It almost feels like a small oasis in the middle of the city, especially when you want a break from walking around Vientiane.
What Is the Café Like?
The café has seating on two floors.
The first floor feels open and casual, while the second floor offers more space to settle in.
If you want to sit down and relax for a while, the second floor is particularly worth checking out.
First Floor: Ordering Counter and Open Seating

The first floor has the ordering counter, preparation area, and table seating.
Because the counter and kitchen area take up part of the space, it did not feel especially large when I visited.
The entrance is completely open, so the first floor is not effectively cooled by air conditioning.
Surprisingly, though, I did not find it uncomfortably hot during my visit.
With a cold shake in hand, the open-front setting actually felt quite fitting.
There is also plenty of fresh fruit displayed around the counter, so you can sit with your drink while looking at the fruit that gives the café so much of its character.
Second Floor: A More Relaxing Place to Sit

The second floor feels more spacious and relaxed than the first.
Near the windows, there is a shoes-off, floor-level seating area where you can settle in more comfortably.
It is a popular spot, so if there is space available, it is a nice place to take a longer break.
The restroom is also located on the second floor.
How to Order a Fruit Shake
Ordering is straightforward.
Place your order on the first floor, then take a seat.
If you are eating or drinking inside, the staff will bring your order to your table.
Takeaway is also available.
If you are getting your drink to go, you can wait near the front of the shop after ordering.
With all the fresh fruit piled up beside the counter, it really does feel as though you are having a shake made right at a fruit shop rather than simply ordering another café drink.
The Fruit Shake I Tried

Noy's Fruit Heaven uses fruit sourced from local farms and markets and prepares its shakes and juices after you order.
On my visit, I chose a green shake made with spinach, which was a little different from the fruit shakes I had usually seen in Laos.
It arrived in a deep green color, but the taste was distinctly fruity.
I could taste rich fruit flavors, including mango, and I was very happy with both the appearance and the taste.
The café says it does not use artificial additives such as syrup or preservatives.
That made me wonder whether the strong natural fruit flavor was part of the reason the shake tasted so rich.
Either way, after trying it myself, I could understand why the place had become popular.
Noy's Fruit Heaven Menu: Shakes, Bowls & Food

Choosing a shake can take a while because there are plenty of combinations.
The menu includes tropical fruits such as mango, dragon fruit, and pineapple, along with combinations featuring ingredients such as avocado and spinach.
Yogurt-based shakes are another option that caught my attention.
The menu also goes beyond fruit shakes, with options including smoothie bowls, fruit salads, sandwiches, and burgers.
If you want to decide what to order before you arrive, the current menu can be checked on the official website.
You could easily stop here for something to eat and have a fruit shake alongside it or afterward.
How Much Does Noy's Fruit Heaven Cost?
Fruit shakes start at 50,000 kip.
That is on the expensive side compared with shakes sold at night markets or smaller juice stands around the city.
If price is your main priority, you can find cheaper fruit shakes elsewhere in Vientiane.
However, comparing Noy's Fruit Heaven only by the price of the drink misses part of what makes it appealing.
The colorful fruit display, comfortable seating, and chance to slow down for a while are part of the experience.
Seen as a slightly more indulgent break during a day of sightseeing, I found the price easier to justify.
Is Noy's Fruit Heaven Worth Visiting?

If all you want is an inexpensive fruit shake, a night market or local juice stand may suit you better.
Noy's Fruit Heaven costs a little more, but it offers something different: fresh fruit, an attractive setting, and somewhere you can stop and relax instead of simply picking up a drink and moving on.
It is best suited to travelers who value the café atmosphere and a comfortable break as much as the shake itself.
For me, that slower moment was part of the appeal.
When you have been walking around Vientiane for a while, sometimes having a pleasant place to sit and take your time has value of its own.
If that sounds like the kind of break you enjoy while traveling, Noy's Fruit Heaven is worth considering.
